Goodbye, o land of Founding Fathers, The freest land of all, That ev´n for me, a stranger, bothers My homeland being just so small, I won´t forget your many smiles, Your humor not the least, My walks right here of healthy miles Were almost like a feast.
You heard my testimony kindly Of Jesus Christ, God´s Son, I warned you, you may wander blindly If Him you don´t rely upon, Church goers may be lost, you know, Head knowledge will not do It could be your eternal woe For you, yes ev´n for you!
You listened to me so politely, My heart went out to you, I begged you, please don´t take me lightly, But do what now you have to do, Surrender to the Lord, our Savior, Don´t fight Him anymore, For Jesus as your saving anchor, Bow down right on the floor!
Despite each godly founding father, Despite the happy smiles, Will U.S. meet God´s judgment rather? (A pile of sins the land defiles!) O, may the Lamb we truly follow And in His precious blood be clean, May not this world us charm and swallow, Soon He removes us from this scene!
