O, land of freedom and of fame
the taste of honey is your name
despite dark powers roaring,
your wounds of sins may Jesus heal,
and may He thus renew our zeal
with blessings on us pouring!

God gave you gospel liberty
defying all hostility
that scorns the saving story!
The Founding Fathers God once used
and wealth abundant was produced
for missions and God´s glory!

So may God make the U.S. great,
and let us honor this bright date
you noble son and daughter,
for all our knowledge will not do,
no matter how it all is true,
the need is living water!
