Jesus, my lips you do anoint,
never you will me disappoint,
full of true healing is your name,
you in the depths have cast all my shame!

You have for me a table set,
there at each dawn new strength I get,
there all my foes have no access,
there you our fellowship richly bless!

Make me a channel for your oil,
that brings relief on this war soil
full of the lost, unhappy souls
that Satan now in his power controls!

Victory in the blood of Christ
who for our sins was sacrificed
in that we boast and nothing less,
we on that ground on and on do press!

So be a bold evangelist,
whatever is your sorrow´s mist,
failures may make you down and sad,
still wash your face, and in Christ be glad!
