Jesus, the pow´r of that sweet name
saves me from sin with all its shame,
for in Thy blood I courage take,
nay, in Thy cross all my boast I make!

O, what a joy its grace to see
when someone cries a sinner´s plea,
for once the gospel has its way,
full of new joy will be our day!

Over is not the day of grace,
God still lost sinners will embrace,
when they for grace and mercy cry
He them salvation will not deny!

When you let loose His saving word
by some lost sheep it may be heard,
to such a soul may God you lead
with that life-giving and God-breathed seed!


Just as God´s "pipeline" be content,
He only souls redeemed has sent,
angels about the blood can´t tell,
only the blood-bought its grace can spell!
