Tune:  Just a closer walk with Thee...

Day by day on Thee I feed
as Thy precious word I heed,
o, your pastures full of dew
do refresh my heart and soul anew!

So I gladly like to go
and let my surroundings know
how the Lord today can save
young and old, nay even weak and brave!

Fill with Christ my sunset´s eve,
as I soon this world may leave,
here I fed by faith on Thee,
there I shall Thy face in glory see!
