A winner is not one who wins in common worldly sense nor one who handles “good” doctrines with pride and zeal intense.
A winner in the gospel sense is one who runs a race that gets no worldly recompense at any haughty place.
There is a prize still to obtain as athletes for the Lord who little have on earth to gain, yet fighting with His sword.
We are not beating in the air, our eyes of faith do see our Savior whom we´ll meet up there, redeemed and more than free!
So conquerors we are in Him, yet “killed the whole day long” (Rom. 8:36) and while our sight sometimes seems dim, we´re still in Christ made strong!
