“I will fasten him as a peg in a secure place…”  (Please read carefully Isa. 22:22-25)

How much may I hang on the Lord?
How big may my burdens still be?
How far do God´s riches afford
to succor my family?

The weight of my family dear,
its offspring from little to great,
I bring them to Christ without fear
assured that it isn´t too late!

Secure is in Jesus that place,
for Heaven´s sweet presence is there,
His undeserved mercy and grace
I breathe in as mountainous air!

What seems in the world so secure
eventually fails and goes down,
however, in Christ you´ll for sure
be “fastened” and therefore not drown!

The leaders of haughtiness fail,
in judgment they will be removed
just like each ungodly “peg nail”
that never by God was approved!

The weight of my family here
is great, but still greater is He!
He patiently does lend His ear
to every unspeakable plea!
