"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful".
Hebr.10:23.
We know what our hope is. It is "our blessed hope" (Tit. 2:14), the coming of our Lord. Scoffers will say, "Where is the promise of His coming?" (
However: "My counsel shall stand and I will accomplish all my purpose", says our great Promisor (Isa. 46:10).
The late renowned radio Bible teacher, dr. de Haan is supposed to have said, "In earlier times there was much preaching about the Lord´s coming, and they had revival.
Today they just talk about revival and have nothing!" Maybe he had a point.
That doesn´t mean, however, that revival automatically occurs whenever the right doctrine on the Lord´s coming is taught.
That in itself will not do.
The anointed voice of revival is lacking in our thousands of Christian churches.
