Let me share with you what you may share with me too, but coming to me afresh this morning, and let me put it in English this time.

I tend to be a little “heavy” in the morning, really for no heavy reasons as a delivered soul in Christ.  But this morning the Holy Spirit succeeded in pointing to my old soul our Lord Jesus Christ in some of His blessed relations.

Precious words smiled at me like a row of pearls, and I suddenly found myself in “enough water to swim in”  (Ez. 47:5) illustrated so wonderfully in the object lesson about the water from the temple to walk in, praying in (“reaching the knees”, v.4) and by overwhelmed by (“to swim in”).  That fine portrait from the Old Testament harmonizes perfectly in my and other believers´ spiritual life.

I had this same morning to call and share that with my close friend, Alan from Sri Lanka, ending up with a word of thanksgiving to our rich Lord right there in the telephone wishing one another a blessed day with the Lord.

Indeed, “your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour”  (1 Pet. 5:8), however, he can be resisted and defeated by faith and overcome “because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony”  (Rev. 12:11).  Oh, make much of the blood of Christ in that battle, and the devil must restrict himself to just “prowl about” – no more than that.

This morning our district cleaning lady came along.  That happens every second week.  “Your look good”, she said.  “Well, you know very well where my joy is”, and she knew and has already listened to my testimony.

I´m still “wet” from the river from the temple, i.e. from the “water of life coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb”  (Rev. 22:1).  It all generates a holy desire to share Christ with other.

Yes, to know Him and make Him known, what a high calling as long as we are still on this hopeless earth, so full of fears and tears!
