If Jesus is the Truth, so what?
What does it really mean
to my behavior, mind and thought
on this confusing scene?

But Truth will never join the crowd,
it firmly stands alone,
it doesn´t shrill with words aloud,
but may in silence groan!

Truth is the soul´s relationship
to Christ in simple trust,
it does abhor the lying lip
with genuine disgust!

With Christ His followers will side,
it otherwise can´t be,
for once His word has been applied,
the soul in Him is free!

The Truth of Christ is absolute
it can´t be relative,
it through the darkness guides your foot,
you in that way can live!

Christ as the Truth, the Life, the Way,
our sinful nature hates,
but in the Spirit´s new array
its newness He creates!  *)
