One thing is hard just to believe,

though Bibles are at hand,

Gods Spirit many Christians grieve

with lives on shaky sand!

We on His word by faith should act,

but idols love instead,

with TV shows we´ve made a pact

while watching on our bed!

The best translations you may get.

the best on all the earth,

and yet God´s word you may neglect

fooled by a feigned "new birth"!

To Indian friends who don´t have much,

the gospel is a thrill,

their lives small Bible portions touch

in jungles of Brazil!

This is the point I bluntly make:

Your faith takes you nowhere,

if your religion is a fake,

and Jesus is not there!

So take the Bible from its shelf

and do not put it back,

receive the gospel for yourself,

and you are on the track!
