Take heart, friend, as you seek the Lord
for His revival rain,
He has before such showers poured
and streams He will send again!
And all the blessings from the sky
our valley now shows forth,
the ground that used to be so dry
just smiles from south to north!
What happens on the thirsty ground
depicts God´s love and zeal
for souls in whom the Lord has found
a hunger true and real!
How blessings of revival flow
nobody can explain,
but at His feet He brings us low
before He sends the rain!
O, as the deer for water pants,
our thirst will never cease,
until the Lord revival grants
as spring´s refreshing breeze!
