The name of Jesus never fades,
It´s filled with saving power,
And while the world it scorns and hates
We love it hour by hour!

The world does have its lusts and charms,
Deceitful are its smiles
Embracing us with open arms,
Our souls it soon defiles!

Religion Satan doesn´t mind,
But hates our Lord and King,
A christless church he has designed
Without the real thing!

O, oovet not the worldly show,
That has your vision blurred,
But let repentance bring you low,
Revived, renewed, re-stirred!

And soon the world will fade away,
Its doom is gloom and night,
But Jesus turns our night to day
And makes our future bright!

His name endures and will sprout forth
As long as shines the sun! *)
In east and west and south and north
Praise Him, the only One!
