The cooing of the gentle dove
To some may be a bore?
But I´ve found it worth my love
And worth while to explore!

The dove may feel quite out of place,
When other birds would sing,
With them our friend cannot keep pace,
Amidst the warbling spring!

Our dove however freely coos
For that it once was made,
Its happiness the Lord renews,
Away it will not fade!

The dove of peace we know so well,
And joyful is its sphere,
Its cooing does with grace excel,
To that we lend an ear!

And to His “dove” God´s love abounds,
He listens to your voice
No matter how its “cooing” sounds,
So therefore do rejoice!
