Be still my soul, wait on the Lord,
Ev´n though you see no light,
For faith does have its own reward,
Your night He´ll soon make bright!

Our weakness God as power sees,
Our sighs are the incense
We bring to Him upon our knees
With quiet confidence!

Remember how He answered you
Not many days ago,
For to His promise He was true,
And you with joy did flow!

Oh, let the Spirit of His word
Your heart with gladness fill
And sing His praise just like the bird
With springtime´s warbling thrill!

The Overseer of your soul (1 Pet. 2:25)
Will faithfully see you through,
While you His grace with tears extol
Or whisper “Lord, thank you!”
