Just returned from my back surgery today I´m pleased to testify to the glory of our glorious God that the surgery seemed to go well. At least I survived, but more than that. As I woke up immediately after the surgery, I felt a little disappointed. Maybe I was having a tiny foretaste of the bliss of the inexpressible eternity (2 Cor. 12:4), but I soon discovered that the bliss stayed with me in my heart. When I woke up, my first words were like “raindrops” in joyous English, they told me, so that may be the language of Heaven? Praise the Lord, to Him be all the glory! How long my body is going to last, He only knows, but one thing is sure: The strength of His eagels´ wings will last all the way!
So thank you for your sustaining prayers! During those three days at the private hospital I experienced as much as a whole month in the U.S. No, of course I´m exaggerating, but it was so wonderful to be His witness in extremely gracious surroundings, but sadly enveloped by spiritual darkness. My cup runneth over! They gave me too much morphine, I think, so a lot of hallucinations bothered me, and yet all that didn´t take away the transcendent joy in the Lord! Now I´m home trying to behave well as an accommodating convalescent soon fit for fight again and swimming in the living waters of His life giving word.
To Him be the glory, - yes, Amen and a thousand fold Amen!
Your happy brother and friend,
