The Bloom of November

This month is not our cup of tea,
so unkind in its gloom,
I long for the Pacific sea
In summer-like costume!

Some photos of our grandkids though
Arouse much joy and fun,
Forgetting the November woe
We almost feel their sun!

We seem to hear their laughter too
Amidst a friendly fight,
New exploits on the beach they do
With innocent delight!

The gospel in the children´s smile
Outweighs the unkind gloom,
It makes each cloudy day worthwhile
And this November bloom!
