This season they describe as fall,
A better name I choose,
A summer feast this month I call,
Its thrills my heart enthuse!

The beach with its Pacific waves
Is like a Paradise,
That beauty in my soul engraves
Designed by God so wise!

For in the roaring waves I hear
His voice of majesty
Of might and pow´r and words of cheer
-    And full of grace so free!

Oh, give me hours in that mood,
For barefoot in your sand
I in that awesome solitude
Desire no more land!
