Tune:  Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow…

O, triune God far high above.

We´re awed because of all Thy love,

A manger to Thy Son you chose,

And so He to our world came close!

This world He loved without deceit,

Though it with hatred Christ did treat,

However as a baby boy

He filled the shepherd´s´hearts with joy!!

“Fear not”, the angel said to them,

“But come ye all to Bethlehem,

to Jesus in His swaddling clothes,

Unarmed yet safe from lurking foes!

The shepherds now the Spirit filled,

With God´s salvation they were thrilled,

The stable was a Heaven´s court,

God´s plan king Herod could not thwart!

At Christmas we again proclaim

Salvation in the Savior´s name,

Receive this gift as you repent,

For just for you Christ has been sent!

In humble worship we kneel down

In Bethlehem and any town

That owns this Savior as our King

And won´t Him change for anything!
