Are you forsaken?  Wait and be still,
God has not left you, do His good will,
Never trust fickle man´s strength and arm,
Weak  flesh and blood bring nothing but harm.

Misunderstandings, words void and vain,
False accusations you tend to gain,
His true disciple you want to be,
Nothing can bind you, -  He set you free!

Are you in darkness?  Jesus is light!
Draw on your Saviour´s power and might!
Your satisfaction Jesus will be,
Your joy  in sorrows only is He!

He knows your trouble, counts every tear,
Faith´s bright horizon soon will be clear,
Tenderly peace He brings to your soul,
As in His presence He makes you whole.

What God is doing with you and  me,
We at the moment can´t clearly see,
His loving plan will carry you through,
”all things …together…” - - - do cover you!

In His good time He lifteth you up,
Full of His blessings floweth your cup,
Souls lost in darkness you will rescue,
Telling the world what Christ did for you.
