Tune:  Amazing Grace…

O, let us sing IMMAUEL´s praise

that thrills our Christmas Eve,

The Gospel´s truth with all its rays,

Who dares them to bereave?

The worldling´s feast we do oppose,

We don´t need all his frills,

For with the wind away it blows.

Then gone are all its thrills!

So feast on Christ, oh day by day,

Much more than words can say,

His presence is so real indeed,

Where Calv´ry is my creed!

My strength is ebbing soon away,

Bright is my future day

For perish will my earthen clay,

Of Christ I´ve  much to say!

So trust Him now, be just content,

Your moods leave to His death,

To sin be dead, do not relent,

in Christ draw all your breath!
