Don´t Yield Ground!

The devil´s darts on mind and thought
Hit often you and me,
But Jesus has our freedom bought
On calv´ry´s blood-stained tree!

His helmet just put on your head,
Defy the serpent´s lie,
On what your Savior did and said
You safely can rely!

A soldier in a battlefield
Stands firm, not yielding ground,
Hold forth His word as sword and shield,
God´s angels you surround!

Your own prestige count but a loss,
Let Christ your passion be,
Let all your glory be His cross
Which fully set you free!

Yes, tell the world what you have found
In Jesus glorified,
Remember there are still around
Lost souls for whom He died!
