I must deeply humble myself before God and men for my prejudice against the US.  In Denmark I  said I´d rather stay at home if it wasn´t for our family in Ca.  Shame on me!  who in the past got so many blessings on American soil.    As we all know, Europe is by and large anti-American which is an attitude we may all unconsciously be affected by.

The Lord has been extremely good and merciful in His loving dealings with us.  Hasn´t He?  Here´s the word that just went home to my heart:  “But thanks be to God, who always leads us in His triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place!”  (2 Cor. 2:14).  That certainly includes California – and, by the way, the place you happen to be at!!

He gently leads us, and the more helpless we are, the more grace He gives us.  The fellowship with dedicated men over here, the re-union with my spiritual son tomorrow, the surprising new contacts right in the open, new exciting appointments, etc., clearly indicates that new blessings, are lying ahead despite my own unworthiness and narrow-mindedness.  I´m not young any longer, but may by His grace say like Caleb (you remember that man of faith and obedience!) “As my strength was then, so my strength is now, for war and for going out and coming in!”  (Jos. 14:11).

Oh, let us worship and adore that great God of salvation “in every place”, gossiping the Good News of Christ!

“This is the Lord´s doing, it is marvelous in our eyes!  This is the day which the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!” Psa. 118:23-24
