”What are you doing for a living?” the gentleman sitting next to me wanted to know.  We were on our way to LA, abt. 11,000 meters up in the air.  My neighbor seemed to be in his 40´ies, well-dressed and with good and polite manners.  I told him that I´ve been a travelling salesman to which he responded that he was actually selling himself.  “Oh, we´re colleagues then” I answered, encouraged by this natural opening in God´s providence.

He had also read my little card and asked me, ”Is that really true?  He was actually inquiring about the cross on our flag which is a symbol reminding us of the cross of our Lord and what He has done for us.  My card presents itself in a beautiful lay-out created by a Danish designer.  It shows the Danish flag plus the banners of the other Scandinavian countries.  They all have the Christian cross on the flag.

What a wonderful opportunity to share with that ”colleague” how The Good Shepherd once found me as a lost sheep, and I told my friend that He did that in order for me to tell others that ”He is still the seeking Shepherd that can find you if you´ll let Him!”

We met again a little later last night at one of the restrooms in the LA-terminal.  “We met in the airplane, and now we meet here!” he smiled.  “Yes, isn´t that almost a prophetic happening?” I smiled back.
