You are no accidental "beast",
but in God´s image made,
you may be poor, but still at least
God´s price for you was paid!

You wonder what I´m getting at?
Please listen then to me,
the price your Savior paid so that
you could be fully free!

Your youth one day will fade away
just like the garden´s rose,
but Jesus Christ will always stay
and be so real and close!

"Light lies ahead", my grandpa smiled
before he passed away,
his words I carefully have filed,
nay, till this very day!

Up yonder we will meet again
because of that big price,
that Jesus paid for sinful men
with His own sacrifice!

You from the sunrise in the East
God sent to our coast,
invited are you to the feast
where Jesus is the host!
