Count it great when as a Christian
you yourself may humbly reckon
as among  God´s people common
who exalt our Lord!

Make it simple, do it often,
let the Holy Spirit soften
in His fellowship´s sweet garden
all our hearts anew!

Stagey show we do not covet
in the big religious market,
but we from His word do profit
at the feet of Christ!

On each Lord´s Day we are meeting,
at His table we are eating,
He us with His gifts is treating,
nay, with oil afresh!

And His love in us is yearning
as we for the lost are burning,
may to Christ they soon be turning
in this day of grace!
