"The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty..."  (Ps. 93:1)

The Lord He reigns the Bible says,
He´s clothed in majesty,
in Christ we see its glorious rays
behind His modesty!

He was despised, but see Him now
though once on earth disowned,
He reigns in glory, - see, too, how
you are with Him enthroned!

In Christ your standing is no less
with still your feet on earth,
the world is full of tears and stress
and words of little worth!

Don´t let the presidential choice
disturb your gospel peace,
but on the Throne with Christ rejoice,
and let that joy increase!

They waters muddy with conceit
with skin-deep godliness,
in Christ those hypocrites do meet,
you pow´r in Him possess!

Commit your country´s worries then
to God´s almighty hand,
fight in His army with His men
that on His good news stand!
