Beloved, - A close friend and a faithful patron of mine from my early youth in the U.S., John Coder, went home to be with the Lord in December 2015.  Our friendship was beautifully intact till his last breath.

It was not possible for me to take part in the local memorial service  in PA this month, and yet I wormed my way to that solemn assembly by way of a movie produced by our very competent son-in-law in Denmark.  If you care to watch the way I commemorated my fond days with this unique brother , please click right here:

Some of you are not so young anymore, and some of us have the feeling that we´re getting close to the eternity.  I trust this simple testimony will be an encouragement to some of you.

As recently as yesterday I had the joy of being the honorary lunch guest of my great grandfather´s big (and now international) bread factories.  I was extremely kindly received, and the Lord answered my prayers about having an opportunity to witness.  That was really the Lord´s doing and my listeners sat there riveted.  The name of the enterprise is Schulstad and now owned by huge Swedish interests.

So may we encourage one another at this last moment of our lives to lift up Christ to the world.  Personally I find that kind of mission especially fascinating in down-to-earth business surroundings (in church surrounding I often find it a little "stuffy"), but of course our opportunities are legion.

For the Bible talks about  making "manifest the savor of His knowledge by us in every place!"  (2 Cor. 2:14)
