I can´t say how grieved I was when I just learned that the American ambassador to Denmark, Rufus Gifford, is gay and was “married” to another gay American at a ceremony in Copenhagen last year.

An ambassador is nominated by the president and Rufus Gifford is referred to as Barack Obama´s informal “ambassador to the gay community”, so the world´s most powerful leader has openly endorsed the homosexual sin and abomination on ambassador level.

Jefferson is supposed to have said, “I tremble for my country  remembering that God is just”.  That great nation, which I praise for its   many great men, is hastening to its doom.  It´s the same over here.  Denmark provoked Jerusalem some years ago by sending a homosexual diplomat as our ambassador.  Indeed, we provoked God.

The Danish Parliament has got its homosexual legislators, and our national church, the so called Evangelical Lutheran Church, is by law subject to homosexual marriage services on which grounds Rufus Gifford was married to a homosexual fellow countryman in one our churches.

God didn´t spare Sodom and Gomorrah, but condemned them to extinction, “making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly” (2 Pet. 2:6), including our ungodly and perverse generation. Should we be silent about it?  God forbid.

And yet, God is patient “not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.”  (2 Pet. 3:9), and by His grace we should be witnesses to that gospel without watering down God´s warnings and “the wrath of God against all ungodliness and unrighteousness”  (Rom. 1:18).  The epistle to the Romans has both, and we would be poor “Romans” if we compromise with His word, summed up in the Lord´s shortest sermon of awakening

, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe in the gospel!” (Mk. 1:15)
