Tune:  Praise God from whom all blessings flow…

Hail, brothers, sisters, look around,
be ready with the gospel´s sound,
with noisy crowds be not dismayed,
for Christ is coming to your aid!

Remember whom you represent
as to the banquet´s joy you went:
The King of kings, the Lord of all!
So preach His word to big and small!  (Acts 26:22)

Yet I like Paul am full of fear, (1 Cor. 2:3)
for evil powers at me sneer,
but as I on the Lord would lean,
He´s pleased to change that fearful scene!

A chance of which you did not dream
may be the time to now redeem  (Col. 4:5)
and, as it were, right “off-the-shelf”
the gospel catches of itself!

How precious are your “gospel feet” (Rom. 10:14)
that go the sinner´s need to meet,
your “platform” may be down-to-earth,
but will be that whole journey worth!
