For godly women God I praise,
they in His providence
as angels didn´t cross my ways
as mere coincidence!

Lo, they were there along the way
when He the gospel preached,
they served the Savior day by day
when out for souls He reached!  *)

They served Him when the daily meals
they would for Him prepare,
that´ s how true love itself reveals
and does its riches share!

Throughout the history we find
how women served so well,
when they unnoticed stood behind
the gospel´s precious spell!

I thank Thee, Lord, for such a gift
with which you did me bless,
my ministry you did uplift
through sisters´ readiness!
