Dear songbird let us now rejoice,
the winter cold has gone,
but warmth conveys your singing voice
enjoyed, too, by the swan!

So in a few sweet springtime days
again I get relief,
  your songs of joy soon with me stays
to ease my hidden grief!

I pity every atheist
whose life is matter things,
where God in Christ does not exist
as Lord and King of kings!

And little does my country care,
religious may be some,
which doesn´t take them anywhere,
yet Christ still cries, O, come!

The springtime pictures that rebirth,
for which Christ paid the cost,
its wonder happens when on earth
He´s trusted by the lost!
