“Who is this man walking in the field to meet us?”  (Gen. 24:65)

Who is this man who´s meeting us?
Excited she did ask,
Rebecca´s journey finished thus
as a completed task!

His servant Abraham had sent
to get that precious pearl
that for his only son was meant,
that young Rebecca girl!

Our journey, too, comes to an end,
our bridegroom will us meet
as our never failing friend,
with smile His bride He´ll greet!

The Spirit our hearts does fill
with Him along the way,
we soon shall see Him, what a thrill,
on that great rapture day!

Who is this man, o Him we know,
His gospel we do preach,
while our journey on will go
till Heaven´s shores we reach!
