Religion and religious views
no power have to save,
but that believed the pious Jews
who did so well behave!

And Jesus Christ they bluntly scorned,
He told them they were lost,
against hypocrisy He warned,
when He the gospel taught!

Religious people never change,
to churches they would throng,
among the leaders they, too, range
that teach what´s right and wrong!

From such a family I came,
but Jesus in His grace
He showed me that I in that “game”
was just a poor, lost case!

“He put a new song in my mouth”  (see Psa. 40:3)
about that crimson flood
that saves in East, West, North and South
the lost through Jesus´ blood!
