(Read Gen.  24:58)

“Will you, young maid, go with this man?”
She answered,  “I will go!”
Her words were “yes” to God´s good plan,
the girl could not say “No”!

And so her “Yes” meant her farewell
to relatives and friends,
in love with Isaac now she fell,
that´s how her old life ends!

And Isaac truly loved his wife,
so beautiful was she!
God gave them both a happy life
where love was just the key!

Our Savior likewise comes to us
with words of love,  although
He other options won´t discuss,
“So, will you with me go?”

And as we with that Savior go
as His and Heaven´s own
we Jesus  better want to know
and make Him widely known!
