“If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill!”  (Psa. 137:5)

Have you observed the tiny land
down in the Middle East?
From having goodwill she is banned,
on Israel´s blood they feast!

I never went to Israel´s land,
and yet I´m always there,
for on her promises I stand,
and all her hopes I share!

She is the scapegoat of the world,
nay, in the U.N. too,
where lies against her are unfurled,
their stains feels every Jew!

And yet my hope for Israel
is joyful nevertheless,
A happy gospel I can tell,
with that the Jews I bless!

Hail, Israel, your fathers´ land!
Messiah is your hope!
With Him your dreams go hand in hand,
wide is their blessed scope!
