Is Christ the answer of your heart,
what more do then you need?
And shouldn´t you feel bright and smart,
so what! On Christ just feed!

Make up your mind once and for all,
as long as He´s your Light,
don´t fear the scorn of Pete and Paul,
for little is their might!

When in His power on you move
and meet the worldling´s face,
you need not this and that to prove,
but trust your Savior´s grace!

His sweet transcendent presence will
you wisdom give to speak,
His Holy Spirit will you fill
when you yourself feel weak!

This is what this poor world should see,
a joyless world in gloom,
nay, let it see in you and me
a springtime, yes, in bloom!
