Tune:  Amazing Grace…

Do you inquire of my creed,
of what it has to say?
Let me confess on whom I feed
as my rock-solid way:

Christ is the only, only way,
He´s not an empty word
on which loud instruments may play
so that His voice is blurred!

My creed is what the Bible says
about His precious blood
that saved me from my evil ways
and washed me in that flood!

I offer you my fellowship
with just this simple creed
that never makes me bite my lip,
but makes me bold, indeed!

Your statement of confession may
be solemn and profound,
but Calvary just makes me say:
I´m happy on that ground!
