Out may my tongue just stammer
what grace is all about,
I need a better grammar
to speak about it loud.

It is an awesome wonder,
in it there is no boast,
it shuns each legal thunder
from Sinai´s mountain post.

Nay, by the Lord´s wounds solely,
and what He sacrificed,
I am delivered wholly,
because of Jesus Christ!

And by that grace I gladly
can meet my fellow man
whose whole career may sadly
be missing God´s good plan.

But now God may be speaking
in quietness to you,
the Shepherd may be seeking
your soul of lostness, too!
