A sheer coincidence?  No, the Lord planned it!

I at a certain house did meet
two dogs behind its fence,
I with a whistle did them greet,
their barking was intense!

Intense, indeed, but friendly though,
yet hardly face to face,
the dogs I did not get to know,
then something strange took place!

Their owner one day spoke to me,
“Come in, they do not bite!”
A young and handsome boy was he,
the timing was just right!

“So awesome you are here today!”
That´s how his talk did start,
he wondered if there be a way
to fill his hungry heart!

I showed the lad the gospel way,
the name of which is Christ,
who for his sins and guilt did pay
when He was sacrificed!

We in the still together prayed,
the dogs were quiet too!
The path for me the Lord had laid
and made my day anew!
