My daily joy and comfort,
my strength and soul´s delight
is Jesus Christ my Savior
who makes my hours bright!
I on His grace with gladness draw
so undeserved and free,
and when my weakness weighs me down,
His pow´r still rests on me!

The fount of living water
springs forth through our lives
into life everlasting
and daily us revives!
O, what a privilege to tell
the gospel story of Christ
when dying for our many sins
His blood He sacrificed!

The cross on our banner 
the gospel illustrates,
for only Calv´ry´s wonder
makes open Heaven´s gates!
No rites and holy deeds will do
nor creeds you by heart may learn,
to Christ, the living Son of God
you must repentant turn!

Is Christ your only anchor
in life and when you die,
and can you say with boldness
that you on Him rely?
Is there assurance in your heart
that you are saved by grace?
Are you clothed with His own righteousness
that will stand before His face?

With words so plain and simple
with tears I testify
how that Good Shepherd found me
when I in sins did lie!
He found me that I may you tell
He wants to find you, too,
if only you´ll let Him in,
that´s all you have to do!
