Tune: Praise God from whom all blessings flow….

Praise God the day is drawing near,
when we the angel´s voice  will hear
to be “caught up” from everywhere
to our Savior in the air!  *)

The order “Let my people go!”   **)
will sound again with pow´r and glow,
first will the dead in Jesus rise,
with them we´ll gladly mobilize!

Who can imagine how it´ll be,
when face to face we Christ shall see?
The Lamb from Calv´ry´s lonely hill,
His blood bought saints His heart will thrill!

A “Hallelujah” never heard,
though we already know the word,
will echo through the universe
thus cleansed from every sinful curse!

Out of each tribe and spoken tongue
to Christ an untold crowd will throng,
there will the bride and bridegroom meet
and at His table with Him eat!

O, may our hearts to Christ belong,
and in His strength be bold and strong,
as His redeemed may He in truth
be cheered by age and by our youth!

The world is now in agony,
its many creeds do not set free,
but saving to the uttermost   ***)
does Christ in whom alone we boast!
