Praise the Lord for real is He

Don´t let worldlings´ folly charm you,
for their flattery will harm you,
let God´s word empow´r and arm you
and refresh you, too!

Preach the gospel news with boldness,
in its ever changeless “oldness”,
which is not a mental process
that mere words profess!

Tell again the old, old story,
even when you´re old and hoary,
for you´ll get from Him in glory
eagles´ wings anew!

Praise His name now and forever,
doubt His love and mercies never,
for no height nor depth will sever
those with blood redeemed!
