“The angel said to them, Do not be afraid, for I bring you good tidings of great joy!”  Luke 2:10

We to a manger do not go,
nor to the Jordan´s bank,
but Jesus Christ we worship though
as Lord of Heaven´s rank!

In Christmas we do not believe,
in just a worldly way,
we love, though, every Christmas Eve
where hymns of praise we play!

The wonder´s Wonder Christ remains,
His body God prepared
to suffer for us endless pains,
God´s love He thus declared!

The angel´s words do never die,
“The Savior He is there!”
Joy came in every shepherd´s eye
and praises filled the air!

So we His birthday celebrate,
but Christless feasts we scorn,
with joy we shout ev´n at this date:
A Savior has been born!

To feast upon the Lord we may,
true gladness He revives,
the world then sees His glorious ray
of sunshine in our lives!
