”You are released, your debt is paid!” These words of royal grace redeemed the servant once afraid, but smile did now his face!
He to a fellow servant went, who had a tiny debt, “I want my money, every cent, no mercy you will not get!”
“Be merciful”, the poor man cried, but “No” was the reply, and to a jail he then was tied, but why so heartless, - why?
The King said, “You I once forgave, but look what now you did, the man you easily could save, him you did not acquit!”
Thus to his servant spoke the King in a rebuking role, the wicked man now felt the sting of yes his callous soul!
The Christian churches do abound with heartless men, we know, although in Christ they grace have found, but does it really show?
